After a sell-out performance in 2007, rockers Linkin Park will return to China in the name of the charitable Music for Relief tour. The two-show engagement kicks off October 12 at the 80,000-seat Shanghai Stadium. Chester Bennington and crew will then head to the 72,000-seat Beijing Workers' Stadium for their second performance on October 19.

The band first performed in China to an audience of more than 20,000 at the Honkou Soccer Stadium in Shanghai. During that show, Linkin Park promised, "We'll come back," according to a statement released by Shanghai-based promoter Emma Ticketmaster.

Tickets for the show go on sale August 10, with prices ranging from 160 yuan to 1600 yuan ($23-$230). The Linkin Park-founded charity Music for Relief will donate a portion of the shows proceeds to help reconstruction in China's Sichuan province, which was devastated by a major earthquake on May 12.

The dates follow Linkin Park's Project Revolution 2008 tour, which kicked off on July 16 in Boston, MA, and is slated to close August 24 in Houston, TX.
