Nine Inch Nails reschedules Minneapolis concert
The Nine Inch Nails/Crystal Castles concert originally scheduled for August 2 at the Target Center in Minneapolis, MN, was postponed to November 25 due to the illness of NIN's frontman Trent Reznor.
Band members issued a statement on August 1, stating that they were "sincerely sorry for the last minute announcement, but after receiving doctor’s orders not to perform, Trent has reluctantly agreed to the postponement."
All tickets purchased for the August 2 concert will be honored on the new date. For those unable to attend the rescheduled date of November 25, a refund will be available at the original point of purchase. The concert is produced by Jam Productions.
NIN started its Lights In The Sky 2008 summer tour on July 25 and has North American shows booked through September 6. The tour will venture south of the border into Mexico in October and then extends to include five South American dates. Trent Reznor handpicked supporting acts -- including Crystal Castles; Deerhunter; and Does It Offend You, Yeah? -- to accompany NIN on various legs of the tour.
