Paul McCartney adds Cowboys Stadium to summer itinerary
Paul McCartney has added another date to his "non-tour."
The former Beatle will play the new Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, TX, on August 19. A presale for American Express cardholders will begin on July 13. Tickets for the public will go on sale on July 20 at Ticketmaster outlets.
The concert will mark McCartney's first Dallas-area concert since 2005 and his only Texas performance of his current summer itinerary.
McCartney will be the new stadium's third concert since its inaugural event with George Strait and Reba McEntire and its concert with the Jonas Brothers.
Earlier confirmed shows for Macca include June 15 at Halifax Commons in Halifax, NS; August 1 at FedExField in Landover, MD; June 17-18 and 21 at Citi Field in Flushing, NY, marking the new venue’s first concerts; August 5-6 at Fenway Park in Boston, MA; and August 15 in Piedmont Park in Atlanta, GA.
