As one concert season draws to a close, another is ready to begin for veteran jam band Phish. The group recently unveiled its plans for a fall 2010 tour that closely follows its two-legged summer tour.

The fall jaunt kicks off with a sold-out August 8 performance at the Austin City Limits Music Festival at Zilker Park in Austin City, TX. A total of 15 concerts are booked up through the group’s traditional Halloween stand, held this year over October 29-31 at Boardwalk Hall in Atlantic City, NJ.

The one-month itinerary centers predominately on East Coast markets aside from an October 10-12 run at 1stBank Center in Broomfield, CO. Other planned multiple-night engagements are October 15-16 at the Coliseum in North Charleston, SC, and October 23-24 at Mullins Center in Amherst, MA.

As usual, Phish will run a presale ticket lottery from now through September 3 via the Phish Tickets portal on Musictoday.com. The first public ticket sales start later on September 10, with the remaining onsales beginning September 11.

TFL and ATBS for ticketing professionals

Presale ticket prices are listed on Phish Tickets as a flat $60 across the board, for general admission and reserved seats alike. Current listings on Ticketmaster.com show the face values are actually a little lower in some cases — ranging from $57 to $59, not including fees.

As they have done with every leg of their tour since reuniting in 2009, Phish created a tour announcement video, this time hosted through the video-based social networking site Vimeo. A full archive of the announcement videos is available on the band’s official Web site.

Phish was on the road earlier for a summer tour that blanketed most of the country and visited 18 cities for a series of 29 concerts. That was just the latest outing for the iconic group, which reunited in March 2009 and then toured through the year with legs in early summer, late summer and late fall.
