Rascal Flatts in Hannah Montana movie
The country group Rascal Flatts will appear and perform in the upcoming Miley Cyrus film, "Hannah Montana: The Movie", internet sources revealed today.
The film, currently being shot in the Nashville area, is based on the popular Disney Channel series starring Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus. Rascal Flatts label is Lyric Street Records, a Nashville-based company that is part of the Disney Music Group. Miley Cyrus and Billy Ray Cyrus also record for Disney.
Additional details of Rascal Flatts' involvement in the film, which is slated for a release in 2009, have not been revealed. The band is taking a break from touring but will return to the road for a June 13 show in St. Louis and have shows booked through the end of September.
A filmed version of Miley Cyrus ’07 musical tour was released early in 2008 and broke many records for ticket sales.
Rascal Flatts — Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus and Joe Don Rooney — are one of country's top acts. Their hits include "Take Me There," "What Hurts the Most," and "Bless the Broken Road."
