Music icon Stevie Wonder today was scheduled to announce he would embark on his first concert tour in more than 20 years, and brokers are gearing up for huge fan interest despite the long hiatus.

Brokers speculate that this could translate into great ticket sales. “Stevie Wonder is huge, he is great,” said one Jacksonville, FL-based ticket broker. “I have no doubt he will be a top seller.” When asked about advance ticket sales, the broker responded, “We more than expect to sell a lot of tickets in advance.” . . .

A broker who goes by the name Laura with Los Angeles-based Applause-Tickets.com also believes in the potential success of the Motown superstar. “Stevie Wonder will definitely be a top seller,” she said.

The Motown legend has stayed active in the music scene with guest appearances and collaborations in the 20 years since his last tour. Motown Records signed visually impaired singer/songwriter at the age of 11, and he subsequently went on to win multiple Grammy Awards and become known throughout the world. He has nine number one hits, and his album sales have exceeded 100 million units.

worth the wait. Stevie and band seemed to have a great time.
Stevie knows how to have fun with the crowd. sing-a-longs were not corny at all. Crowd really loved seeing and hearing whatever was coming off the stage.
A MIC malfunction and a cry from the crowd to turn-it-up at the beginning of show, all else went great.
Wish they'd played so many other songs, but they played so many good ones any way. NO DISAPOINTMENT!! Although the crowd was mostly over 50, there were plenty of newbies.

if you like stevie, you really should see this show.
great, great time.
