The Eagles tour in July and September
The Eagles are on the road for the rest of July and after an August 1 concert, take the month off only to return in September for 10 concerts, culminating with a double-header September 24-25 in Chicago, IL. The country-tinged rockers are also playing two nights in Boston, MA and Houston, TX.
The Eagles are continuing to promote their 2007 two-set album, "Long Road Out of Eden", which was available exclusively at Wal-Mart stores. It was their first studio album in 28 years. It sold 711,000 copies in its first week out and has now passed the 7 million mark.
Worldwide, the Eagles have sold more than 120 million albums, earning five No. 1 singles and five Grammy Awards Their "Greatest Hits 1971-1975" is the best-selling album of all time in the United States.
