Ticketmaster Entertainment's Sean Moriarty honored for philanthropy
Sean Moriarty, president of Ticketmaster Entertainment, was honored recently at the fourth annual CoachArt Champions Awards Dinner in Pacific Palisades, CA, for his philanthropic efforts that have significantly improved CoachArt's ability to help the children it serves.
The event raised more than $400,000. CoachArt is a Los Angeles based non-profit organization that provides therapeutic programs for chronically ill children and adolescents.
"It is a true honor to be recognized by CoachArt," said Moriarty in a statement. "CoachArt is a valuable organization that provides much-needed therapeutic programs for chronically-ill, and underprivileged children. I am proud to be associated with such an organization."
"We are extremely grateful for the tremendous turnout we received at this year's event and are so appreciative of the support from Sean, a truly outstanding individual who embody the spirit of CoachArt," said Zander Lurie, chairman, CoachArt. "We are big believers in the power of hope and strive to instill this in our young patients we serve through recreation and athletics. We aim to brighten their lives and raise their spirits to help these fighters forget, even for a moment, the battles they face on a daily basis."

Comments represent the opinions of users and do not necessarily reflect the views of TicketNews.I got duped by purchasing Tickets on TICKTEMASTER CANADA for Brittney SPears tickets. Not being familiar with ticket brokers I had no idea i had just purchased tickets from the US in US Dollars. Not one screen or confirmation email quoting my ticket prices said US dollars. It was not until I got my visa did i realize i had to pay an extra $100.00 for these tickets. Then try and talk to anyone of any authority with Ticketmaster Canada - impossible. I want my tickets cancelled and my money reimbursed but it is impossible to find anyone to speak to at Ticketmaster Canada. Why is Mr. Moriarity too scared to publish an email address or contact info for him... because he is a crook is why!!!! It is Ticketmaster Canada's intent to have people purchase these tickets through the US without telling you they are quoting you in US dollars.
Why doesn't Zander Lurie, chairman of CoachArt, give a lifetime achievement award to Osama Bin Laden while he's at it!! It's practically the same thing!!
you are an idiot for such a comment. What have YOU done to that contributes to society?
