Nickelback will be on the road for another season, as the Canada-based rock band extends the Dark Horse World Tour that launched with a U.S. leg in summer 2009.

The tour’s next leg begins September 14 at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, TN, and concludes more than a month later on October 30 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV. Three Days Grace and Buckcherry are the marked opening acts for the fall run.

The 25-city circuit includes stops on September 24 at Comcast Center in Mansfield, MA; October 12 at New Orleans Arena in New Orleans, LA; and October 23 at ARCO Arena in Sacramento, CA. As it stands now, the Canadian band hasn’t confirmed any dates north of the border for this round of touring.

Ticket presales open today, July 8, on Nickelback’s official fan club, and run through July 16. Once the presales have closed, remaining ticket allotments will be available to the general public starting July 17.

Ticket prices begin around $40 and continue into the $60 to $80 range, depending on the venue, according to current listings on Ticketmaster.com. Exceptions include Mohegan Sun Arena in Uncasville, CT, where price tiers have been set at $90 and $110, and Honda Center in Anaheim, CA, where prices (less fees) run from $25.50 up to $75.50.

In addition to last summer’s 30-city outing that launched the “Dark Horse” venture, Nickelback also completed a spring 2010 tour leg, which visited another 30 markets across the United States and Canada. According to a press release, the band sold more than 1.6 million tickets worldwide for the tour since 2009.
