Rock’s famed feuding brothers, Noel and Liam Gallagher, have plans to tour North America at the end of this year — but they won’t be touring together.

After their acclaimed rock act Oasis called it quits, Noel and Liam’s paths diverged as they began work on separate musical projects. Now the two have announced separate tours for those projects that will take them across the United States and Canada before year’s end.

Elder sibling and songwriter Noel Gallagher will be the first to cross the Atlantic this fall, as his new solo project High Flying Birds begins its debut tour. The seven-date North American venture runs November 7-8 at Massey Hall in Toronto, ON, though November 19 at Orpheum Theatre in San Francisco, CA.

Around that same time, Liam and the remaining members of Oasis — now recording and performing as Beady Eye — will begin their own North American outing. The nine-date Beady Eye routing kicks off November 29 at Commodore Ballroom in Vancouver, BC, and concludes December 10 at the House of Blues in Boston, MA.

Public onsales for Noel Gallagher’s tour open this Friday, September 9. Pre-fee ticket prices on Ticketmaster.com and LiveNation.com range from $40 to $100. Meanwhile, tickets to see Liam Gallagher and crew went on sale in late July, carrying face values from just under $30 up to $60.

These dueling tours are just the latest chapter in the Gallaghers’ storied sibling rivalry. The pair’s notoriously rocky relationship — from blow-out fights to uneasy reconciliations — has been well-documented by the press over the years.

Even since Oasis split up in summer 2009, the Gallaghers have continued to spar in the media. Most recently, Liam filed a lawsuit in August as a result of statements made by his brother during a July interview. The lawsuit was later dropped after Noel issued an apology.

It remains to be seen which brother’s tour will be the bigger draw this fall, but Liam Gallagher has a head start with audience familiarity at least. Beady Eye already released its debut album, “Different Gear, Still Speeding” (No. 31 on the Billboard 200), and completed a brief promotional tour for the set.

Meanwhile, Noel Gallagher awaits the October 14 release of the High Flying Birds’ eponymous debut record. His group’s live debut is also further down the line, with a trio of shows in Ireland and the UK booked for late October.
