Fast-rising indie-rock quartet Paper Route has joined Paramore for a month of late-summer tour dates, which were preceded by a series of July headlining shows, July 8-25. The rockers also have some solo shows booked on this leg of the tour.
Paper Route’s five-track EP, “Are We All Forgotten,” is a mix of classic Americana and electro-pop. The EP is slated for an upcoming release on Tigershark/Low Altitude, which the band will follow up with a full-length album in early 2009.
The group has been the local buzz of Nashville, TN, and has built a loyal online following over the last two years for its emotionally arresting and musically distinct combination: indie-rock with unstinting and honest songwriting, a clear note of Americana-flavored authenticity, and enveloping, evocative ambient electronic arrangements.
Paper Route is: Chad Howat, JT Daly, Andy Smith, and Gavin McDonald.
