Prince has a royal experience planned for Los Angeles, CA. The musician this week announced official plans for a “21 nite stand” in the city as part of his on-going Welcome 2 America Tour.

The Los Angeles residency will begin with performances on April 14, 21 and 22 at iconic area venue The Forum. As with his earlier tour dates this year, the Los Angeles events will also feature a bevy of special guests, though specific acts are yet to be named.

Public onsales begin today, April 12, for the first three Forum concerts. Additional dates for the run will be announced soon. According to a press release from producer Live Nation, “roughly 85% of all tickets will be available at $25, inclusive of all service fees.”

The affordable “all-in” pricing option is available for the Forum’s riser and colonnade seats, as well as for limited floor and loge seats.

Pricier options are also available in today’s Ticketmaster.com onsales. Face values run up to $179 for regular tickets, with $500 or $755 for VIP tickets options. Each of these options carries an additional $26 in fees.

The Welcome 2 America Tour launched in late 2010 and continued through the early parts of 2011, as Prince played a total of six nights at the Izod Center in New Jersey (December 15 and 17) and Madison Square Garden in New York City (December 18 and 19, January 18, and February 7).

The Purple One then moved on with three shows in Oakland, CA, and (most recently) six concerts in North and South Carolina.
