The Allman Brothers Band have confirmed their fifth annual Wanee Music Festival at the Spirit of Suwanee Music Park in Live Oak, FL, on June 5-6. Gov’t Mule, Derek Trucks Band, the Doobie Brothers, Toots and The Maytals, Little Feat, Umphrey’s McGee, The Wailers, and Drive-By Truckers are among the featured artists.

The Allman Brothers Band will perform on both days and there will be a special June 5 midnight set with the Derek Trucks Band. A Wanee Kick Off Party is set for June 4 with The Radiators.

Tickets will go on sale on March 7 at 10 a.m.; ticket prices include free camping facilities. VIP packages including parking, hospitality, catered buffet, private restrooms and special seating are also available.

The Allman Brothers Band are celebrating its 40th anniversary this year and kick the year off with 15 concerts at the Beacon Theatre in New York City (March 9-10, 12-14, 16-17, 19-21, 23-24 and 26-28). They are booked along with The Dead and the Doobie Brothers on May 16 at The Gorge in Gorge, WA.

Last year the group had to postpone its annual Beacon Theatre residency as well as their Wannee Festival so Gregg Allman could fully recover from treatment for Hepatitis C. He is now disease free.
