B.B. King

B.B. King, born Riley B. King, is an American blues guitarist from Mississippi who has become a living legend both for his skill and the duration of his career. Rolling Stone ranked him third on its list of the "100 Greatest Guitarists of All Time." King has recorded and toured for more than 50 years, releasing dozens of albums and often completing hundreds of live performances a year. Though many of his concerts are often solo engagements, he occasionally tours with other prominent figures in the blues world, such as a recent 2009 tour with fellow guitarist Buddy Guy. B.B. King remains a popular artist for live concerts, and he regularly fills medium- to large-sized clubs and theaters both in North America and internationally.
