In support of their upcoming book, Beastie Boys surviving members Adam “Adrock” Horovitz and Michael “Mike D” Diamond will head out on a six-night “event tour.”

The tour, which will kick-off on October 29 in New York City, will make stops at Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre, a two-day stop at Los Angeles’ Montalban Theatre, and San Francisco’s City Arts & Lectures at Nourse Theater. They will wrap-up overseas in London at EartH on November 30. Tickets will include a physical copy of “Beastie Boys Book.”

Each night the event tour will include readings, conversations between Horovitz, Diamond, and a special guest moderator, and Q&A sessions. There will also be a live score provided by the group’s DJ, Mix Master Mike.

The “Beastie Boys Book” is due October 30 and discusses the history of the group since their formation in 1979. It will delve into their success album in 1986, Licensed to Ill, along with Paul’s Botique in 1989 and 1990’s albums Check Your Head and Ill Communication. The hip-hop group, who are best-known for hit tracks like “Sabatoge” and “Intergalactic,” disbanded after the death of co-founder Adam Yauch in 2012.
