A well-known name in the alternative / indie music scene, Beck has released 11 albums since 1993. Both "Odelay" and "Sean Change" were awarded Album of Year by "Rolling Stone" in 1996 and 2002 respectively. Before his first official recording in 1988, Beck spent time in Germany with his grandfather cultivating his individual sound. Al Hansen, Beck’s grandfather, is a visual collage artist and the duo have collaborated together on the exhibition "Beck & Al Hansen: Playing with Matches." In addition to his music career, Beck has performed in a few cameo roles in cartoons such as "Futurama", "The Rugrats Movie", and "Space Ghost Coast to Coast."
The platinum artist is son to a Canadian musician, David Campbell, and a former Andy Warhol actress, Bibbe Hansen. Though born Bek David Campbell, he uses his mother’s last name. Beck is an avid scientologist and is currently married to Marissa Ribisi. The couple has two children.

Tickets for upcoming appearances from Fox News television personalities Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly, as well as tickets to two Broadway musicals, are on sale throughout the weekend ending September 6 as compiled by TicketNews.
Due to the Labor Day holiday weekend, the onsales for this week are lighter than usual. Starting off the onsales are tickets to see two of Fox News' most popular television personalities together. The "Bold and Fresh Tour," featuring Fox stars Glenn Beck and Bill O'Reilly has tickets on sale today for stops in Dallas and New Orleans, while an appearance of Beck alone is on sale for Atlanta.
Jeff Beck tour brings 'Emotion & Commotion' to U.S. in April, June
After a weekend Grammy win and headline-making performance, famed guitar master Jeff Beck has expanded his tour plans for the nation. The English musician's scheduled now stands at nearly two dozen dates spread out over the course of spring and summer.
The first leg of Beck's U.S. tour begins April 16 at Nob Hill Masonic Center in San Francisco, CA, and ends May 1 at the New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival in New Orleans, LA. Beck's calendar will then open up for a month, with the second leg picking up on June 3 at the Bank of America Pavilion in Boston, MA, and wrapping June 23 at the PNC Pavilion in Cincinnati, OH.
Eric Clapton, Jeff Beck concert dates planned for U.S. and Canada in 2010
Iconic guitar slingers Eric Clapton and Jeff Beck will bring their acclaimed co-headlining concert series to North America in early 2010 for at least three shows.
The mini-trek starts with a February 18 performance at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY, before heading further north for gigs on February 21 at Air Canada Centre in Toronto, ON, and February 22 at Bell Centre in Montreal, QC.
Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton upgrade to two London concerts for 2010
Guitar gods Jeff Beck and Eric Clapton have expanded their 2010 concert plans for London, England. The two musicians, who launched their early careers with separate stints in the Yard Birds and went on to build illustrious reputations, will now perform two concerts at the O2 Arena in mid-February.
Beck and Clapton first announced plans for a February 13 show at the massive arena in late September. Today, the pair followed up with the announcement of a second show on February 14, due to high demand.
Jeff Beck tour tackles U.S. dates after Rock Hall induction
Legendary guitarist Jeff Beck will follow his April 4 induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame with a coast-to-coast tour. The 10-city trek kicks off April 6 at Scranton Cultural Center in Scranton, PA, and ends April 23 at Fox Theater in Oakland, CA.
During his stateside run, Beck will perform a series of two night stands: April 9-10 at the Fillmore at Irving Plaza in New York, NY; April 16-17 at Park West in Chicago, IL; and April 21-22 at El Rey Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Jazz and big band music seems to be reclaiming the roads this season. Harry Connick, Jr. began announcing the first dates for his Holiday Celebration Tour for winter 2008, with more dates expected in the near future. Kenny G also has a U.S. tour booked for December, following his international performances in October and November. The saxophonist's tour announcement was bolstered by the recent announcement that he is nominated for two Latin Grammy awards for his most recent album.
Beck concert will open AEG Live's new Club Nokia in Los Angeles
Alternative rock maven Beck has been tapped to open the new Club Nokia in downtown Los Angeles on November 10. The 2,300-capacity club is part of the $2.5 billion LA Live sports and entertainment project developed by AEG Live, which is also booking the club along with concert promoter Goldenvoice.
Tickets for Beck's concert go on sale September 27. The concert is a return performance for the rocker, who recently played a September 20 capacity show at the Hollywood Bowl in Los Angeles, CA. Beck's current tour, which kicked off August 21, is slated to wrap with an October 2-3 run at Aragon Ballroom in Chicago, IL, with supporting act MGMT.

Allman Brothers Band side project Gov't Mule has a late fall tour on the books for this fall. The tour will feature the debut performances of Jorgen Carlsson, the Swedish bassist who just joined ranks with the Southern jam band as the permanent replacement for Allen Woody.
Beck tours to promote new album
Beck, best know for his 1994 breakthrough hit "Loser", has 16 concerts booked from August 21 in Reno, NV through October 2-3 in Chicago, IL. The October 3 show at the Aragon Ballroom is sold out. The Brooklyn-based futurist rock/pop ensemble MGMT picks up the tour in midstream and opens from September 22-October 3.
Beck will be promoting his new eighth studio album "Modern Guilt," which was released on July 8. Strangely, in the CD era when an hour-plus worth of music can easily be contained within, the "Modern Guilt" has less than 34 minutes of music. Beck collaborated with producer Brian "Danger Mouse" Burton, part of the Gnarls Barkley duo, on the 10 track album.
Beck, Black Crowes headline Calif. Festival
Headliners Beck and The Black Crowes are among the 35 bands performing on four stages at the 24th annual Street Scene 2008 in downtown San Diego, CA, to be held September 19-20. It is one of California's longest running music festivals.
