Bryan Adams is a singer-songwriter based out of Canada. Since making his self-titled debut in 1980, Adams has regularly topped album and radio charts alike in his native country, while also making a substantial impact on U.S. and European charts. In support of his eleventh studio album, "11," released in 2008, Adams has completed several acoustic and electric tour legs across Europe, the U.S. and Canada, visiting venues ranging in size from clubs to arenas. He remains best-known in the U.S. for his 1985 hit single "Summer of '69."

Bryan Adams tour plots more solo acoustic shows for U.S., Canada
Rock veteran Bryan Adams will head across his native Canada and the United States for a new batch of concerts this fall. The musician's schedule is peppered with dates from a full-band performance on September 4 at Telus Field in Edmonton, AB, through an intimate solo gig on December 10 at State Theatre in New Brunswick, NJ.

Bryan Adams tour takes on Canada in winter 2009
After completing a January tour of the South, rock musician Bryan Adams will head north of the border for a dozen shows in his native Canada. The new round of dates picks up February 8 at The Port Theatre in Nanimo, BC, and wraps March 14 at the John Labatt Centre in London, ON.
The trek is split into two legs, according to Adams's Web site: a round of acoustic dates in February and a full-band arena tour in March. Highlights for both sets of dates include a February 11 show at Francis Winspear Centre For Music in Edmonton, AB, a March 8 concert at Sudbury Arena in Sudbury, ON, and a March 10 gig at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, ON.
Bryan Adams tour adds new block of solo acoustic concerts in 2009
With his next round of U.S. acoustic performances just a week away, singer-songwriter Bryan Adams has announced plans for more intimate concerts in 2009. The upcoming jaunt launches November 28 at Town Hall in Seattle, WA, and concludes December 7 at Ikeda Theatre in Mesa, AZ.
The new round of dates begins with a January 6 concert at King Center in Melbourne, FL, and is scheduled to wrap with a January 16 gig at Symphony Hall in Atlanta, GA. The 11-date jaunt features a January 11 stop at Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, TN, and a January 14 show at Carolina Theatre in Durham, NC.
Bryan Adams tour plots more acoustic shows on West Coast
Following his late fall tour of the UK, Bryan Adams will return to the States for a series of acoustic concerts late in the 2008 season. The stripped-down solo sets kick off November 28 at Town Hall in Seattle, WA, and continue through December 7 at Ikeda Theatre in Mesa, AZ.
The Canadian rocker will focus on the West Coast for the announced nine-date trek, which includes a December 2 gig at the Palace of Fine Arts Theatre in San Francisco, CA, and a December 5 performance at The Wiltern in Los Angeles, CA. All dates of the solo trek are now available through public on-sales.
Annie Lennox, Bryan Adams rock for 'Peace'
Annie Lennox, Bryan Adams and Natasha Bedingfield will perform at the Peace One Day Celebration on September 9 at Nokia Theatre Times Square in New York City. Lennox and Adams will perform acoustic sets. Actor Jude Law and rocker Lenny Kravitz are among those to send messages via video.
The celebration will also feature speeches from international luminaries and clips from the acclaimed documentary, The Day After Peace. The New York concert will be filmed and a TV special will be broadcast globally. Additional performers and presenters will be announced at a later date.
Bryan Adams tours w/ Foreigner, Stewart
Canadian pop/rocker Bryan Adams will have a busy summer opening for Foreigner and for Rod Stewart while also throwing in a few solo acoustic shows at more intimate clubs and theaters. Adams opens nine times for Foreigner from July 15-26, seven times with Stewart from July 30-August 9 and six solo acoustic shows within that time frame.
Last month, Adams also performed solo acoustically across the States previewing new material from his new album "11" that was released through Wal-Mart and Sam's Club stores in May. It was No. 1 in Canada and entered Billboard's Top Independent Albums chart at No. 7. It is not only is 11th studio album but features 11 songs recorded in hotel rooms and backstage areas of concert venues across Europe over the last two years.
