FanSnap, a ticket search engine, was co-founded in 2007 by former StubHub Chief Marketing Officer Mike Janes and former Google and MTV Networks executive Rishi Garg. Following a successful beta phase in 2008 and early 2009, the company's Web site officially launched in mid-March of 2009.
The company has partnerships with dozens of major online ticket providers, such as StubHub, Ace Ticket, AllShows and TicketNews parent company TicketNetwork, which allows fans to search through a large, constantly updated inventory of tickets for sports, concerts and theater events.
FanSnap's online tools help fans to filter their searches through a myriad of criteria, such as venues, teams and pricing, and it offers detailed seating maps that also give fans vantage viewpoints of sections where their tickets might be located.
