Fenway Park, home of the 2004 and 2007 World Series Champion Boston Red Sox, is Major League Baseball's oldest stadium. It was built in 1912, and along with Wrigley Field, home of the Chicago Cubs, Fenway Park is one of the most famous stadiums in all of professional sports.
Even for jaded New York Yankee fans, the archrivals of the Red Sox, seeing a ball game at Fenway Park is a pleasure. While some of its roughly 37,000 seats have obstructed views, the ballpark's historic nature and unique "Green Monster" wall in leftfield make seeing games a treat.
Since 2004, the stadium has begun hosting summer concerts by popular recording artists, such as The Police, Dave Matthews Band, Rolling Stones and Jimmy Buffett, and on January 1, 2010, it will host the National Hockey League's "Winter Classic" game between the Boston Bruins and an as-yet undecided opponent.
NKOTBSB tour adds more dates, Fenway Park concert

The fresh launch-date is now May 26 at Van Andel Arena in Grand Rapids, MI, followed by shows on May 28 at HSBC Arena in Buffalo, NY, and May 29 at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD.

During the April 7 Red Sox vs. Yankees game, Tyler and vocalist Peter Wolf announced that their Boston-based bands Aerosmith and the J. Geils Band will play a late summer concert at the historic stadium on August 14.
