The Black Eyed Peas star Fergie is doing her bit for the environment by cutting back on concert tickets. Fans who want to see the pop star on her upcoming 20-city US tour can download a ticket to their mobile phones.
The singer has teamed up with communications firm Verizon to offer fans the chance to gain entrance to her concerts simply by flashing their phones. Verizon Wireless subscribers can get a ticket via a series of mobile tie-ins.
Verizon bosses have recently pulled out of supporting Gwen Stefani’s US tour after support act Akon shocked by dirty dancing with a 14-year-old girl at a recent concert in Trinidad.
