FurrySoft, an Escondido,CA-based software company, created the first iPhone application for buying tickets called Tiggits 1.0. The free app can be downloaded from Apple's iTunes store, and it also works with the computer giant's iTouch iPod.
The app offers users direct access to TicketNetwork's extensive, billion-dollar inventory of tickets to North American events, and it does so without first having to log into a Web browser. Ticket purchases are completed without exiting the app, and for security those transactions are encrypted over 3G, Edge and wireless internet connections that protect consumer information and privacy.
