Guns N' Roses is an American rock band, known for its best-selling 1987 release "Appetite for Destruction." Since its release, the record has been RIAA-certified Diamond and 18x Platinum, selling more than 28 million copies worldwide as of October 2008. The band has gone through various lineup changes, but has always been helmed by the controversial and reclusive Axl Rose.
Guns N' Roses recently released its first studio album in 15 years, setting off speculation that a long-awaited full-length tour could also be on the horizon. However, the band's past tours have been spotted by tragedy and controversy. Additionally, Rose's mercurial nature can make the guarantee for a full performance a gamble. The vocalist has gotten a reputation for a fiery temper on stage (and off), as well as a tendency to walk out on shows when displeased. Despite Rose's antics, Guns N' Roses past arena tours have been popular among fans around the world.
Guns N' Roses Club Tour Rocks On
As Designers from all over the world descended upon New York City to showcase their new Fall/Winter collections for New York Fashion week, February 9–16, Guns N' Roses were preparing to rock New York. The band played the Roseland Ballroom Friday night, February 10, as the first show of the seven-date tour they announced at the end of January.
After finishing a tour of 40 plus cities across Latin America and the United States at the end of 2011, which marked the band's first tour together in five years, Guns N' Roses shocked fans when they announced the plans for this new tour. However, even more surprising than the quick turnaround between the seemingly back-to-back tours is the choice of venues.
Guns N' Roses tour to tackle trio of U.S. concerts
Guns N' Roses is expanding its 2011 tour plans into America, where frontman Axl Rose and his hard rock bandmates will perform a trio of shows this fall.
While more dates could be added in the future, GNR's fall tour features only three U.S. concerts at this point in time. Confirmed concerts are lined up for October 28 at the Amway Center in Orlando, Fl; October 29 at American Airlines Arena in Miami, FL; and November 12 at Sprint Center in Kansas City, MO.
Guns N' Roses plots single U.S. concert for 2010 Chinese Democracy Tour
Guns N' Roses will take the stage on August 13 for its first official U.S. concert in four years. The performance is booked for the final day of the week-long Rock 'N Rev Festival in Sturgis, SD.
The festival, which runs August 9-13, announced GNR's addition to its lineup earlier today, July 20. Alice in Chains is also scheduled to perform on August 13, while the event's earlier days feature the likes of Godsmack (August 9), Creed (August 10), Stone Temple Pilots (August 11), and 3 Doors Down (August 12).
Guns N' Roses tour to take on Canada in early 2010
After years of tour speculation and the long-awaited release of "Chinese Democracy," an album 10 years in the making, Guns N' Roses has outlined plans for a North American tour.
For now, the routing will just take Axl Rose and his compatriots across the Canadian provinces. Thirteen dates are on the books from a January 13 opening show at MTS Centre in Winnipeg, MB, through a final February 4 gig at Metro Centre in Halifax, NS.
Guns N' Roses tour could take 'Chinese Democracy' on the road in March
Current Guns N' Roses guitarist Richard Fortus is stirring up speculation that Axl Roses' embattled band could hit the road in 2009. In a recent interview with St. Louis, MO-based newspaper The Telegraph, Fortus said the tour would hopefully start in late March and run for "at least two years."
The tour would support GNR's latest release, "Chinese Democracy," which hit stores on November 23, nearly 15 years after Rose initially revealed plans for the record. Despite the legendary delay and years of media hype, the album had a disappointing debut at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 with approximately 261,000 copies sold.
Guns N' Roses to Reunite for Platinum Anniversary?
Rumors are swirling around Los Angeles that four of the original five Guns N' Roses hard-rock band members will reunite July 28th at the Key Club in Los Angeles.

Guns N' Roses To Play Reunion Show?
Guns N' Roses rumors? Always. Then again, this one seems to hold a little more water than most. It's rumored that four of the original Guns N' Roses line-up may reunite next week to mark the 20th anniversary of the band's debut release 'Appetite For Destruction'.
Original band drummer Steven Adler said that the event would take place on Saturday (July 28) at the Key Club in Los Angeles. He stated "I'll be down there with my band and Slash, Izzy (Stradlin, guitarist) and Duff (McKagan, bass) will be there too. It's gonna be great."
Adler said that he doubted that singer Axl Rose would turn up, but he expected a full reunion to happen eventually. . . .
