Getting their jump-start and primary audience from children's television network the Disney Channel, sibling pop trio Jonas Brothers shot to stardom among its adolescent fan base in 2005, and emerged into the mainstream over the following years with its annual studio releases, beginning with the 2006 debut "It's About Time."
As the popularity of brothers Kevin, Nick and Joe Jonas grew, so did demand for tickets to their live performances. By early 2008, live entertainment company Live Nation signed the trio into a long-term, multi-million dollar touring deal.
Under the terms of the contract, Jonas Brothers launched a headlining tour during summer 2008 that was a hot ticket for its young female fans and helped position the band near the top of TicketNews's exclusive weekly event rankings on a regular basis. During a summer season fraught with cancelled tours and postponed concerts, even the Jonas Brothers' latest North American outing has not proved impervious. The sibling trio announced a series of heavy revisions to their upcoming Live in Concert Tour.
The modified 27-city schedule for the United States and Canada will launch about two weeks later than originally planned -- August 7 at First Midwest bank Amphitheatre in Tinley Park, IL. The tour's closing night also has been moved up from October to the new end-date of September 19 at Verizon Wireless Amphitheater in Irvine, CA.
Santana, Jonas Brothers tickets on sale throughout the weekend

Jonas Brothers tour unveils 'Camp Rock' concert plans with Demi Lovato
Pop music's latest sibling phenomenon Jonas Brothers has announced the details for its summer 2010 tour, which is routed through large arenas and sheds across North America.
The tour will launch July 27 at the Superpages.com Center in Dallas, TX, and continue on its North American trajectory through an October 27 performance at Time Warner Cable Music Pavilion in Raleigh, NC. Additional tour plans are expected to follow for Latin America and Europe.
Jonas Brothers dismiss Christmas tour dates leaked by Live Nation
UPDATE: John Vlautin, vice president of communications for Live Nation, contacted TicketNews after deadline, around 5 p.m. on October 13. He credited the Jonas Brothers concert listings on the company's site to an "employee error" but refused to answer additional questions about the situation.
A couple weeks ago, fans of Jonas Brothers were overjoyed to see 11 seemingly confirmed tour dates pop up on Live Nation for their favorite sibling trio, complete with presale and public onsale times. However, the pop sensations recently stepped forward to say they have no such tour plans whatsoever.

This week's onsales start off on Wednesday with tickets to catch rockers Say Anything on their upcoming tour. Jonas Brothers rise in the Top Events rankings
Wicked (6.30) may have the top spot in TicketNews's Weekly Top Events rankings for the week ending July 12, but the Jonas Brothers made a big leap in the rankings, from their previously held number five spot to number two (4.12). The Boston Red Sox (3.10) and New York Yankees (2.54) follow in numbers three and four. Paul McCartney was number two (2.49) in the last rankings but he's since slipped to number five. Theater's Jersey Boys stay at number six (2.27). U2 makes number seven (1.69) and the Chicago Cubs stays at number eight (1.63). American Idols Live breaks back into the overall top ten at number nine (1.59). Broadway's Billy Elliot is number ten, power score 1.52.
