Elton John, Linkin Park tickets on sale this weekend
Tickets for Elton John's upcoming stadium tour, as well as tickets to upcoming shows from Linkin Park are on sale throughout the weekend ending December 20 as compiled by TicketNews.
Starting off this weekend's onsales are tickets to two upcoming Elton John concerts at New York City's Madison Square Garden. John's concerts are typically good sellers as he is one of the most successful recording artists of all-time, selling over 250 million albums over the course of his career. Tickets go on sale today.
Linkin Park tour maps 'A Thousand Suns' dates for North America
After spending some time away from the national tour circuit, Linkin Park will return in early 2011 with the North American leg of the A Thousand Suns Tour. The 21-date itinerary opens January 20 at the Bank Atlantic Center in Sunrise, FL, and concludes a month later on February 26 at Pepsi Center in Denver, CO.
Along the way, Linkin Park will play January 26 at the United Center in Chicago, IL; February 1 at TD Garden in Boston, MA; February 4 at Madison Square Garden in New York, NY; February 19 at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, NV; and February 23 at Staples Center in Los Angeles, CA.
Linkin Park tour cancels Music for Relief concerts in Asia
Linkin Park has been forced to cancel its five Music For Relief concerts in Mainland China, Macau and Taipei, from October 12-21, as well as an October 6 Las Vegas, NV show, after lead vocalist Chester Bennington sustained a back injury. He is under doctor's orders to refrain from traveling or any physical activities.
Cash refunds will be available for ticketholders who purchased tickets in cash at The Venetian in Macao. Those who purchased tickets by credit cards will automatically have the full amount refunded to their accounts.
Linkin Park tour dates in China benefit charity
After a sell-out performance in 2007, rockers Linkin Park will return to China in the name of the charitable Music for Relief tour. The two-show engagement kicks off October 12 at the 80,000-seat Shanghai Stadium. Chester Bennington and crew will then head to the 72,000-seat Beijing Workers' Stadium for their second performance on October 19.
The band first performed in China to an audience of more than 20,000 at the Honkou Soccer Stadium in Shanghai. During that show, Linkin Park promised, "We'll come back," according to a statement released by Shanghai-based promoter Emma Ticketmaster.
Linkin Park, Jonas Brothers in onsales

The Z100 Zootopia concert scheduled for East Rutherford, NJ and featuring teen sensations Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers has tickets going on sale Saturday morning. Fans of High School Musical will be excited to note that two of its stars, Vanessa Hudgens and Corbin Bleu will be reuniting for a show in Louisville. Joining them will be Drew Seeley, who provided the singing voice for “Troy” in the first Disney film. Tickets for the joint concert will be available Friday morning.
Linkin Park’s Projekt Revolution
Multi-platinum, two-time Grammy-winning rock band Linkin Park's much-anticipated lineup for its annual Projekt Revoluton 2008 tour has been finalized with former Soundgarden/Audioslave frontman Chris Cornell, electro-rockers The Bravery and Ashes Divide, featuring Billy Howerdel, known for his work with A Perfect Circle. The Revolution stage will be headlined by metallic act Atreyu and features hard hitters 10 Years, fiery Ohio natives Hawthorne Heights and buzz band Armor For Sleep. Also performing will be percussive force Street Drum Corps. The fifth installment of the tour launches July 16 in Boston and winds down Aug. 24 in Houston, TX.
