Secondhand Serenade tour plans for 'Fast Times' this fall
Solo musician John Vesely, who performs under the stage name Secondhand Serenade, will make the rounds with his touring band this fall on the headlining Fast Times at Secondhand High Tour. The first leg of the trek kicks off September 3 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV.
More than 20 dates have been booked across the U.S. and Canada for the early fall outing, and additional concerts are forthcoming. Some of the current highlights include a September 6 show at Sunshine Theatre in Albuquerque, NM, a September 12 performance at The Masquerade in Altanta, GA, a September 23 gig at Blender Theatre at Gramercy in New York, NY, and an October 2 event at Sokol Auditorium Underground in Omaha, NE.
Secondhand Serenade tour hits the ground running after dates with The Fray
Singer-songwriter John Vesely just completed a successful supporting run with The Fray in Australia and a number of headline dates in the Philippines, but the touring doesn't end now that he's back in the United States. Performing under the stage name Secondhand Serenade, the musician has lined up a month-long tour that features a mix of supporting and headlining dates.
The outing begins and ends with Secondhand Serenade supporting alt-rock group the Red Jumpsuit Apparatus on a run most consisting of university and college venues. In between, the one-man band will take the stage at clubs and theaters for a number of solo performances.
Secondhand Serenade tour adds 'Twist' to 2009 with new dates
Singer-songwriter John Vesely, who performs under the solo project name Secondhand Serenade, will tour North America again in 2009. The new headlining trek kicks off January 16 at the House of Blues in Las Vegas, NV, and wraps a little more than three weeks later on February 8 at Toad's Place in New Haven, CT.
The 18-date coast-to-coast run features a January 21 concert at the Knitting Factory in Spokane, WA, and a February 6 gig at Lupo's Heartbreak Hotel in Providence, RI. The outing also includes five performances in Canada, from a January 20 gig at the Biltmore Cabaret in Vancouver, BC, through a February 3 set at The Mod Club Theatre in Toronto, ON.
Secondhand Serenade tour takes two headlining spots this fall
One-man band Secondhand Serenade has already spent more than four months on the road, but the tour bus won't be stopping anytime soon. The solo project just announced two fall headlining jaunts, including a co-headlining spot with Cute Is What We Aim For (CiWWAF).
The current tour, featuring support from Thriving Ivory, Cory Lamb and I Hate Kate, kicked off September 16 at The Rock in Tuscon, AZ, and runs through October 17 at Idaho State University in Pocatello. After a brief break, Serenade begins the MySpace-sponored trek with CiWWAF with a Halloween gig at Crocodile Rock Cafe in Allentown, PA. The 28-date jaunt wraps December 10 at The Pavilion in Corpus Christi, TX, and includes opening sets from Automatic Loveletter and A Rocket to The Moon.
