So You Think You Can Dance revs up for 2011 tour
As they have done in previous seasons, the Top 10 dancers on the current season of reality competition "So You Think You Can Dance" will step out for a tour of the nation later this year.
The 2011 SYTYCD Tour hits the road September 17 at Amway Center in Orlando, FL, and concludes its 32-city run on November 2 at Valley View Casino Center in San Diego, CA.

This weekend's onsales begin today with tickets to several dates for the upcoming So You Think You Can Dance tour. The popular Fox reality show is in its eighth season, and still performing well. Dates on sale include shows in Toronto, Boston, Providence, Miami, and Pittsburgh.
So You Think You Can Dance tour announces fall 2010 routing
Popular television dance competition "So You Think You Can Dance" will take its top contestants from 2010 on the road with a live U.S. tour at the end of the season.
Forty dates are booked for the upcoming outing, beginning September 19 at Lakefront Arena in New Orleans, LA. The coast-to-coast U.S. venture will run for two solid months before wrapping November 17 at Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ.
So You Think You Can Dance Canada tour announces late 2009 run
Following in the footsteps of the popular American So You Think You Can Dance television competition and seasonal tour, the production's Canandian off-shoot has announced its own 2009 calendar. The Canadian production, SYTYCD Canada, will hit the road late in the year for a four-week, 18-city venture.
The recently announced schedule launches November 25 at Prospera Place in Kelowna, BC, and continues through December 22 at Halifax Metro Centre in Halifax, NS. Stops along the way include December 1 at Credit Union Centre in Saskatoon, SK; December 12 at Copps Coliseum in Hamilton, ON; and December 19 at Colisee Pepsi in Quebec City, QC.
So You Think You Can Dance tour takes top 10 contestants on the road
With the finale of its fifth season just a couple weeks away, the popular reality dance competition "So You Think You Can Dance" has announced plans to take the show on the road this fall. This season's top 10 contestants will dance their way across the nation over a period of two months, visiting 40 markets from coast to coast.
The trek launches September 20 at Verizon Wireless Arena in Manchester, NH, and ends November 21 at the Comcast Arena at Everett Events Center in Everett, WA. Highlights include performances on September 22 at Agganis Arena in Boston, MA; October 6 at United Center in Chicago, IL; October 15 at 1st Mariner Arena in Baltimore, MD; October 30 at BOK Center in Tulsa, OK; and November 9 at Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles, CA.

Tickets to for the upcoming national tour from So You Think You Can Dance as well as tickets for the upcoming NCAA and NFL football seasons are on sale throughout the week ending July 25 as compiled by Ticket News.
This week's onsales start off with tickets to catch Alan Jackson in concert. Going on sale Wednesday morning, the tickets mark a chance to see the country crooner in concert in Ontario. Rockers The Fray also have tickets among the Wednesday onsales, with a show in Kingston, RI on sale. Rounding out the Wednesday onsales are tickets to see Brand New in concert in New York.

Taking a cue from similar reality television show American Idol (minus the singing, but with better dancing), contestants from So You Think You Can Dance will embark on a 40-city tour this fall. Based on ticket sales that began Saturday, the tour has earned the number three spot on the overall top events chart (power score 2.75) and is the bestselling concert, according to the top concert events rankings (power score on that chart is 6.86). The title of bestselling event belongs to Wicked, closely followed by the New York Yankees.

So You Think You Can Dance heads out for 40 city tour
America's #1 sizzling summer TV show "So You Think You Can Dance" will head out on a 40 city tour beginning on September 20 in Tacoma, WA and wrapping on November 17 in Tampa, FL. Tickets for a good portion of the shows go on sale on August 2.
The show will feature hit routines from the TV show, as well as original pieces created just for the tour. Series creator Simon Fuller, co-creator Nigel Lythgoe, dick clark productions, AEG Live and 19 Entertainment chief executives are the producers of the tour. AEG Live has also promoted High School Musical, American Idols Live and Dancing with the Stars tours.
