TicketLiquidator is a ticket resale Web site owned and operated by TicketNews's parent company TicketNetwork. It was founded in 2002, the same year as TicketNetwork, and was created as a place for brokers and individual ticket sellers to display and sell their event tickets. The site is the nation's third-largest secondary ticket site, after StubHub and TicketsNow, according to TicketNews's exclusive industry rankings.
The Web site, considered a ticket exchange, boasts more than 3.2 million tickets to more than 60,000 events around the world, and it allows users to list tickets for free. The site then receives a 10 percent commission when a ticket sells, an amount less than competing exchanges such as StubHub.

These young men lived, drank, cheered, fought, bled and obsessed over their favorite football teams, never wavering for a moment in their devotion and dedication. . .
TicketLiquidator, StubHub!, Razorgator, TicketsNow: The Battle Rages On

Internet traffic figures compiled by ComScore Media Metrix show that TicketsNow is losing traction to its competitors, with StubHub taking a commanding lead. Those figures don't necessarily translate into revenue, however.
The four competitors Mulpuru (Sucharita Mulpuru, an analyst who covers the industry for Forrester Research), said are battling for the top spot in the market -- Razor Gator, StubHub, Ticketliquidator (www.TicketLiquidator.com) and TicketsNow -- have made the space interesting to watch as they try to differentiate themselves. . .
