Death Cab for Cutie, Wyclef Jean, Panic at the Disco, Joss Stone, Dashboard Confessional and Erykah Badu have been added to the Voodoo Experience in New Orleans, LA October 24-26. R.E.M., Nine Inch Nails and Stone Temple Pilots were previously announced.

More than 90 acts will highlight a milestone for the event — its ‘Tenth Ritual’ –marking a celebration of 10 years of music as well as New Orleans’ bohemian culture, arts and cuisine in New Orleans’ historic and scenic City Park. There will be three distinct performance areas–Le Ritual, Le Flambeau and Le Carnival– and six stages each highlighting a unique history of the Big Easy.

Beyond the traditional sets, this year’s event will include a series of celebratory performances including: a special gospel brunch featuring the historic collaboration of vocal legends The Blind Boys of Alabama and the ageless music of the Preservation Hall Jazz Band. Sharing the stage for the first time ever as they carry their proud musical traditions on into the future, two of America’s great cultural ambassadors bring together the joy of Gospel with the soul of New Orleans; internationally acclaimed DJ and producer King Britt’s tribute to painter, singer, and self-proclaimed “bride of Christ” Sister Gertrude Morgan–whose visually explosive folk art is celebrated on the museum circuit world-wide.
