Today marked the final day of Ticket Summit®, the leading trade show and conference for live entertainment professionals, which was held at the ARIA Resort and Casino in Las Vegas over the past three days. Shark Tank’s Daymond John was the highlight of the day, sharing his entrepreneurial expertise about company branding, marketing strategies, and effective communication. Founder of FUBU and a forerunner in the fashion industry, John’s talk was both knowledgeable and inspiring.

Friday morning was filled with two other great panels as well, educating listeners on PPC and anti-fraud strategies. “PPC Tips and Tricks” featured Mike Lorenc from Google where he is currently the Head of Industry for Ticketing and Live Events. His sales and business background proved impressive – establishing Google’s presence in Poland, teaching digital monetization at Michigan State University, and previous time spent at AOL Time Warner. His experience was important to the panel as companies are constantly looking to implement and better utilize pay-per-click advertising on their websites.

TicketNetwork® sponsored the “Anti-Fraud Strategies” session from 10:00 AM – 11:30 AM. Tom Wilk of TicketNetwork’s Business Intelligence team spoke about reducing fraud in the workplace and various web strategies to help reduce this risk. TicketNetwork® also announced their new Internet fraud prevention tool, which uses predictive analytics to help avert scams. The panel also featured Steve Casco from CardNotPresent.com, Don Bush from Kount Inc., and Ryan Wilk from NuData Security.

The evening concluded with an enjoyable cocktail party sponsored by Event Tickets Center on the Ironwood Balcony. This was another great networking opportunity for all the businesses in attendance, and a nice farewell. Until next year, Vegas.
