An impressive summer tour from John Legend and a couple of benefit concerts are on the menu for the May 19 daily tour recap, as compiled by TicketNews.

Award-winning soul musician John Legend has nearly 50 concerts lined up for his summer “Evolver” tour, which features India.Arie as the supporting act. Meanwhile, recording artist Kanye West will perform a benefit concert in Chicago this June, and will offer free tickets to children in the city’s public school system who have shown marked improvements in grades and attendance. The Great White Way also has a benefit coming up in the form of Born for Broadway. Acts are yet to be announced, but proceeds will go towards the Christopher & Dana Reeve Foundation.

Snoop Dogg has added another concert to his upcoming summer tour with Slightly Stoopid. The rap icon and his tour partners will now stop for an August 2 show at St. John’s County Fair in Elkton, FL, near the end of their 20-city tour. The whole outing launches July 10 at Star of the Desert Arena in Primm, NV, and ends August 8 at Comcast Center in Mansfield. Snoop will follow the tour with an August 9 solo set at Lollapalooza in Chicago, IL.

Maylene & The Sons of Disaster are wrapping a late spring block of tour dates with a 45-city summer tour on the horizon. The new outing picks up July 9 at Lifest in Oshkosh, WI, and currently is booked through September 3 at The National in Richmond, VA. Stops on the trek include July 17 at Sokol Auditorium in Omaha, NE; July 31 at Emo’s in Austin, TX; August 8 at The Masquerade in Atlanta, GA; and August 26 at NorVa in Norfolk, VA. Maylene takes the stage next tonight (May 19) at Music Farm in Charleston, SC, appearing with Clutch.

Robin Trower, former guitarist for Procol Harum, has about 60 solo concerts booked across the U.S. this year. His itinerary kicks off with a May 26 show at Canyon Club and continues through October 18 at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, FL. The dates are split between a summer tour leg and a recently announced batch of fall dates, which includes a September 11 gig at the House of Blues in Atlantic City, NJ, an October 1 concert at the Berklee Performance Center in Boston, MA, and an October 10 show at The Orange Peel in Asheville, NC.

Shemekia Copeland has dozens of concerts lined up across the U.S. and Canada through summer, but come fall, the blues vocalist has nearly 30 concerts booked in Turkey. Locations for the extensive tour have not been announced yet, but the jaunt is scheduled to run from October 16 in Antalya through November 20-22 in Izmir. Her national itinerary includes dates from May 21 at Northern Lights Theater in Milwaukee, WI, through August 29 at the Limestone City Blues Festival in Kingston, ON.

Black Moth Super Rainbow has unveiled plans for a block of solo concerts in June, following its current tour with School of Seven Bells. The new gigs are inked for June 19 at Pilot Light in Knoxville, TN; June 27 at Grog Shop in Cleveland Heights, OH; June 29 at Jay Pritzker Pavilion in Chicago, IL; and June 30 at Magic Stick in Detroit, MI. Black Moth’s itinerary picks up tonight (May 19) at Red Mile Round Barn in Lexington, KY, and ends with a June 27 gig at Bottom of the Hill in San Francisco, CA.
