For a fifth year, country music’s Stagecoach Festival will once again grace Empire Polo Field in Indio, CA. Slated for the April 30 – May 1 weekend, the country music festival has tagged a mix of veteran performers and up-and-coming acts for the upcoming season.

Event organizers recently unveiled a billing headlined by Kenny Chesney, Rascal Flatts and Carrie Underwood for the spring 2011 event. Also high on the lineup are Darius Rucker, Josh Turner, Easton Corbin, Loretta Lynn, Chris Young and recently resurging star Leon Russell.

In all, 30 acts have been tagged for appearances at the early year festival, which follows fellow Indio-based festival Coachella by two weekends next year. A full list of scheduled artists is available on Stagecoach’s official Web site.

Public ticket sales for Stagecoach 2011 begin Friday, November 5. A two-day general admission pass costs $99, but children 10 and under are admitted free. Fans with deeper pockets can select one of two reserved seating options, priced at $499 and $799.

As in previous years, Stagecoach attendees can purchase their tickets via the festival’s layaway plan. Various RV and non-RV camping sites are also available for purchase, and are outlined on the event’s Web site.

During the 2010 season, the two-day Stagecoach saw its best attendance yet, reportedly attracting more than 50,000 people per day. Those numbers were an increase from 2009’s approximate per-day attendance of 40,000.
