Formed 13 years ago, the Disco Biscuits are preparing for their first studio album since the release of “Señor Boombox” in 2002. The forthcoming effort will be the fifth studio record for the Philadelphia-based group and draws inspiration from their hometown’s hip-hop community with the help of duo Don Cheegro and Dirty Harry.

In the years since releasing “Señor Boombox,” which hit No. 13 on Billboard‘s electronic albums chart and No. 46 on the independent albums chart, the Disco Biscuits have supplemented their music catalogue with a series of live releases.
