Ticket Summit named one of EXPO Magazine's Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows of 2011
Ticket Summit®, the leading conference and trade show for the ticketing and live event industry, was recently included in EXPO Magazine's Top 25 Fast-Growth Shows list. The networking conference was ranked 23 overall in the country, for its fast-paced growth as well as integration of innovative technology in its conference design.
According to EXPO Magazine, the list "assesses conferences and expos not just for their size, but also for new strategies, innovative ways of showcasing exhibitors, blockbuster growth, and use of new media and IT." The 25 conferences and trade shows listed cater to a variety of industries, such as hospitality, food, and event services.
Pollstar Live! stages third annual concert industry conference
Popular trade publication Pollstar is just about one week away from launching its third annual Pollstar Live! conference.
This year's event takes place February 1-3 at the JW Marriott Hotel in Los Angeles, CA, and will provide industry leaders with a place to discuss challenges faced in the concert industry. The conference will conclude with the 23rd Annual Pollstar Awards at Club Nokia.
Ticket Summit to conclude this evening in New York City
The Ticket Summit® conference and trade show for live entertainment executives today, January 20, concludes its three-day conference, which includes a keynote, three panel sessions, and a closing gala. The keynote session this afternoon will feature Seth Hurwitz, independent promoter and co-owner of 9:30 Club.
Today's panel sessions will include "Data Mining & Pricing," "The Hispanic Ticket Market," and "Legislative Preview."
Ticket Summit continues three-day conference in New York City
Ticket Summit® continues today, January 19, with its full conference schedule of keynotes, panel sessions, networking events, and a concurrent trade show. Today's schedule includes the first of two keynote sessions, featuring Richard Krezwick, president of Devils Arena Entertainment.
There will also be three panel sessions held today. In the morning, panelists will speak on "Premium Packages & Ticket Bundles" and "Search Engine Marketing." In the afternoon, Dave Butler (CEO, Paciolan), Susan Cohig (senior VP of integrated marketing, NHL), and Michael Kenney (senior VP of live event marketing, Harlem Globetrotters) will speak on the "World of Sports" panel.
Ticket Summit to begin today in New York City
The Ticket Summit® conference and trade show begins its 2012 winter conference this afternoon, January 18, at The Waldorf=Astoria in New York, NY. Today's schedule includes a TicketNetwork® Point-of-Sale Training session, followed by a networking cocktail party in the evening.
Ticket Summit brings together executives from all parts of the ticketing industry. "The ticketing space is one my favorite spaces to work," said Ben Kirshner, CEO of Elite SEM and Ticket Summit speaker, "and I'm excited to meet all the players [at Ticket Summit]."

Ticket Summit® begins tomorrow, January 18, at The Waldorf=Astoria in New York, NY, and continues through Friday, January 20. The conference schedule includes two Keynotes, numerous panel sessions, an industry trade show, and networking events.
The Keynote speakers will be Richard Krezwick, President of Devils Arena Entertainment, and Seth Hurwitz, co-owner of 9:30 Club. Krezwick will speak on Thursday, January 19, and Hurwitz on Friday, January 20.
INTIX prepares for 33rd annual ticketing conference
The impact of ever-changing technology on the ticketing industry will be one of the major themes of the International Ticketing Association's (INTIX) annual conference, to be held this week in San Antonio, TX.
INTIX is a non-profit membership organization that represents more than 1,100 professionals in the ticketing industry. Its 33rd annual conference and exhibition runs January 17-19 at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio.
