Depeche Mode lands in the rankings in a top spot

Landing in the rankings this week in the No. 2 position is English electronic band Depeche Mode, whose recent on-sale for their upcoming tour, ‘The Global Spirit Tour,’ had excited fans snapping up tickets. The tour is in support on their upcoming album which will be released on March 17. The new music is the band’s first since 2013.

The North American Leg of the tour kicks off August in Salt Lake City and will wrap on October 27th in Edmonton. Some other cities on the tour include: Denver, Clarkston, Tinley park, Uncasville, Toronto, Montreal, Washington, New York, Tampa, Miami, Nashville, Austin, Dallas, Spring, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Santa Barbara, Chula Vista, San Jose, Oakland, Los Angeles, Seattle, Portland and Vancouver.

Back in the rankings this week after having 11 new tour dates added to their tour is singer song-writer Roger Waters, co-founder of the legendary British band Pink Floyd who landed in the No. 10 spot. The tour promises a state-of-art audio visual production complete with an immersive sensory experience.

His tour kicks off May 26 in Kansas City and wraps on October 28 in Vancouver. Other tour stops on the roster include: Louisville, St. Louis, Tulsa, Denver, San Jose, Oakland, Sacramento, Phoenix, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, Seattle, san Antonio, Dallas, Houston, New Orleans, Tampa, Miami, Atlanta, Greensboro, Atlanta, Columbus, Chicago, St, Paul, Milwaukee, Detroit, Washington , Philadelphia, Nashville, Newark, Brooklyn, Uniondale, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, Albany, Hartford, Boston, Toronto, Quebec City, Ottawa, Montreal, Winnipeg and Edmonton.

The rest of the rankings remained stable with the Monster Jam truck show moving up into in the No. 1 spot from last week’s No. 5, while the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus grabbed the No. 3 spot up from last week’s No. 4. John Mayer landed in the No. 4 position this week while Bruno Mars moved up into the No. 5 from last week’s No. 8. Luke Bryan & Brett Eldridge grabbed the No. 7 position while the fight featuring Canelo Alvarez vs Julio Cesar Jr. which was No. 3 last week moved down into the No. 8 spot. Pop sensation Lady Gaga moved down into the No. 9 position this week from last week’s No. 1.

With a little help from a newly announced tour date from legendary artist Roger Waters, co-founder of Pink Floyd, the United Center landed in the No. 9 position this week. The multi-purpose arena is home to the Chicago Bulls and Blackhawks.

Other upcoming events being held at the arena beside the home team games include: Kings of Leon & Deerhunter, The Comedy Get Down Tour, Ariana Grande, Bon Jovi, McDonalds All American High School Basketball, NCAA Frons Four, John Mayer, Neil Diamond, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Queen & Adam Lambert, Cirque du Soliel, – Luzia, Roger Waters, J, Cole, and Bruno Mars.

With a some help from the Big 12 Men’ s Basketball Tournament being held March 8th through March 11th, the Sprint Center in Kansas City landed in the No. 8 position.

Some Other events being held at the arena include: Charlie Wilson, Fantasia & Johnny Gill, Ariana Grande, NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament, Disney On Ice, Radiohead, Chris Tomlin, Chris Brown, 50 Center, OT Genasis & Fabolous, John Mayer, UFC Fight Night: Demetrius Johnson vs Wilson Reis, WWE, The Chainsmokers, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Future, Migos, Tory Lanez, & Kodak Black, New Kids on the Block, Paula Abdul 7 Boys II Men, Def Leppard and more.

The rest of the rankings remained stable and venues switching ranked positions. Madison Square Garden moved into the No. 1 spot from last week’s No. 2, while the T-Mobile Arena grabbed the No. 2 spot down from last week’s No. 1. The Staples Center grabbed the No. 4 spot down from last week’s No. 6 while The TD Garden nabbed the No. 5 position. The Barclays Center moved in the No. 6 spot down from last week’s No. 5. While the NRG Stadium grabbed the No. 7 spot. Red Rocks Amphitheatre rounded out the rankings in the No. 10 spot.
