Tickets to upcoming concerts from Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood are among the onsales for the weekend ending November 19, 2012, as compiled by TicketNews®.
This weekend’s onsales list begins with tickets to Taylor Swift’s The Red Tour. Swift is hitting the road starting in March in support of her record selling album Red. The Red Tour is schedule to run through September 2013 touching down in stadiums and arenas across North America. Joining Swift on tour is singer-songwriter Ed Sheeran who recently released his debut studio album + in the United States this summer. Tickets for The Red Tour in Washington D.C.; Pittsburgh, PA; Tampa, FL; Detroit, MI; Toronto, ON; Kansas City, MO; Chicago, IL; and Los Angeles, CA are among the weekend onsales.
Tickets to several upcoming concerts from country superstar Carrie Underwood are also available this weekend. The former American Idol champion will be embarking on her Blown Away Tour, named after her most recent album. Country newcomer Hunter Hayes will be accompanying Underwood for the length of the tour. Dates among the weekend onsales include stops in Charleston, WV; Jacksonville, FL; Fort Wayne, IN; Portland, ME; Milwaukee, WI; Omaha, NE; and Las Vegas, NV.
Continuing the concert onsales are tickets to Matchbox Twenty’s concert tour. The rock band, who released their fourth studio album “North” this past September, are back together again following their second break-up. The band has concerts in Baltimore, MD; Atlantic City, NJ; Louisville, KY; San Antonio, TX; Las Vegas, NV; and Windsor, ON on sale throughout the weekend.
Wrapping up this weekend’s concert onsales are several concerts from Soundgarden. The English rock band has tickets for several upcoming performances on sale throughout the weekend, including shows in Detroit, MI; Washington D.C.; Boston, MA; and Toronto, ON.
Finally, several sporting events have tickets on sale this weekend. Tickets go on sale Monday, November 19, 2012, for the NFL Pro Bowl. The annual all-star event will be held in Honolulu, HI. Also on sale Monday are tickets to the 2013 Women’s Big East Championship Tournament. This year’s competition for the Big East’s automatic qualifying bid to the NCAA tournament will be held in Hartford, CT.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
