Country star Toby Keith will ring in the New Year with a fresh round of dates for his on-going Biggest & Baddest Tour. With nearly 30 shows completed during the summer and early fall, the trek will map at least a dozen more concerts, beginning with a January 10 set at IP Casino & Resort in Biloxi, MS.

Only seven shows of the winter 2009 run have been announced so far, including a January 22 concert at Times Union Center in Albany, NY, a January 23 gig at Mohegan Sun in Uncasville, CT, and a February 7 performance at Eastern Kentucky Expo Center in Pikeville, KY. A single summer date is also on the books for August 6 at the WE Fest in Detroit Lakes, MN.

More dates will be announced in the coming weeks. Country music newcomer Jason Aldean is slated to open select dates of the new U.S. tour leg. Aldean recently completed a headlining stint for Country Music Television’s seventh annual CMT on Tour with Lady Antebellum.

Keith began his Biggest & Baddest Tour to support his June 2007 release “Big Dog Daddy.” However, the country singer-songwriter has since released the follow-up “That Don’t Make Me A Bad Guy,” his thirteenth studio album. The late October release hit No. 5 on the Billboard 200 and topped the country music charts, fed by the success of the record’s first single “She Never Cried in Front of Me.”
