Meanwhile, The Cult has more full-album performances of 1985’s “Love” ahead of them this November. And acclaimed alt-rock band Wilco will continue promoting its latest studio album through early 2010, when the crew will hit markets across the U.S. and Canada on an early winter outing.

Whitney Houston has announced her first full tour plans since 1999’s My Love Is Your Love World Tour. The new I Look To You Tour, taking its name from Houston’s most recent studio album, is currently set to begin overseas on April 8 at Manchester Evening News Arena in Manchester, ENG. More than a dozen concerts are on the calendar through a May 29 gig at SAP Arena in Mannheim, GER. Some of Houston’s other planned performances are April 25 at The O2 in London, ENG, and May 17 at Color Line Arena in Hamburg, GER.

Bob Dylan is adding more concerts to his late 2009 calendar as he continues down the West Coast for the first leg of his fall outing. The latest new date for the legendary singer-songwriter is a November 5 show at Canton Memorial Civic Center in Canton, OH. His tour continues with an October 13-15 stand at Hollywood Palladium in Hollywood, CA, and concludes in mid-November with two additional three-night stands on the East Coast: November 13-14 at Citi Performing Arts Center in Boston, MA, and November 17-19 at United Palace in New York, NY.

AC/DC will be back on the road at the end of this week after taking a break at the orders of singer Brian Johnson’s doctors. When the hard rockers head out, they’ll have a new concert date on their North American itinerary. A fresh event has cropped up for November 15 at UTEP Don Haskins Center in El Paso, TX. AC/DC’s tour restarts on October 16 at Verizon Center in Washington, DC. The six shows postponed due to Johnson’s health have yet to be rescheduled.

Owl City has a largely sold-out tour booked for the end of 2009, but Adam Young and his latest musical project will return to the road afresh with an early 2010 tour of the U.S.. The 19-date venture will kick off January 21 at Beaumont Club in Kansas City, MO, and end February 13 at Brubaker Auditorium in Grantham, PA. Along the way, Owl City will descend for shows on January 26 at Majestic Theatre in Madison, WI; January 30 at NorVa in Norfolk, VA; February 4 at Culture Room in Fort Lauderdale, FL; and February 9 at Varsity Theatre in Baton Rouge, LA.

Justin Nozuka has more than 20 concerts scheduled for his late 2009 U.S. tour leg. The singer-songwriter heads out on the national tour trail with a November 3 concert at Webster Hall in New York, NY, and concludes his venture on December 3 at Neumos in Seattle, WA. Other gig stops are booked for November 5 at Sixth & I Historic Synatgogue in Washington, DC; November 13 at Varsity Theater in Minneapolis, MN; November 21 at The Loft in Dallas, TX; and November 29 at Slim’s in San Francisco, CA.
