Toronto Maple Leafs tickets sell for less as face values increase
Mon, Oct 19th 2009 4:25 pm EST
Face values for the typical ticket to see the Toronto Maple Leafs ranges from $100 to $300 (U.S.), but on the secondary market, prices are bottoming out. Many brokers are now selling tickets to see the Ontario hockey team for a fraction of their marked value. Resellers have pegged the falling demand for tickets as backlash against the team's league-topping prices. However, as far as some analysts are concerned, solutions are sparse for the valuable but struggling team.
