Tue, Dec 22nd 2009 3:51 pm EST
Scalpers are reportedly reselling what were free tickets earmarked for Boston residents to ice skate in Boston's Fenway Park, home of the Red Sox. The baseball stadium has been converted into a hockey rink for the January 1 NHL "Winter Classic" game between the Boston Bruins and the Philadelphia Flyers, and according to the Boston Globe, some scalpers were trying to sell tickets on Craigslist for as much as $1,800 for four. The free skate at the park is scheduled for January 3 and 10.
