VANOC to Olympics volunteers: No scalping

In keeping with it's strict policy of trying to control ticket resale, the Vancouver Olympics Committee (VANOC) is threatening to cancel any tickets given to Olympics volunteers that turn up on the secondary market. About 50,000 tickets for a February 10 rehearsal of the opening ceremonies were given out to volunteers, but VANOC said it will invalidate any of those tickets that are scalped.
