To meet demand, the New York Yankees, currently at spring training in Tampa, FL, added three new rows of premium seats behind home plate at Legends Field, the team’s 10,000-seat, 31-acre facility.

Tickets for the new seats are available through the stadium’s box office and Ticketmaster and average $190 each per game over the 15-game schedule, according to officials. A box of eight seats for the season costs $22,800. The home schedule begins March 1 and ends March 31, and all seats at the park are only sold on a reserved basis; the team doesn’t sell general admission tickets.
