Kansas City – Tough questions continue to swirl about why tickets to the Hannah Montana show at the new Sprint Center are so hard to come by.
The city council hopes to get some answers Thursday. On Wednesday night, Mayor Mark Funkhouser said he and the rest of the city council still need to learn more about the problem and they plan to do so at a Thursday afternoon meeting.
On Tuesday, a music industry insider said large blocks of tickets to events like the Hannah Montana show at the Sprint Center are sold to scalpers before they ever go on sale to the general public. But even the tickets that are ear-marked for the ordinary concert-goer often aren’t sold like they should be.
