The director of the University of Montana’s Adams Center had this to say a day after thousands of Elton John fans stood in lines in a fruitless attempt to get tickets to the Sept. 28 concert:

“I can’t begin to say how much I regret the experience of people who stood in line and didn’t get tickets. I apologize for that.
