Due to popular demand, comedian George Lopez has added two additional shows on Dec. 28-29 to his initial three-night run at the new Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE in Los Angeles. In addition to a special New Year’s Eve show on Dec. 31, Lopez, who is the first comedian to perform at the venue, will also appear on Dec. 26-27 at the new downtown theatre across the street from the Staples Center.

Lopez is considered one of a handful of premier comedians performing today. He is the co-creator, writer, producer and star of the ABC-TV show “George Lopez,” which just wrapped its sixth and final season. Maintaining an extremely active schedule as a stand-up comedian, George is a sell-out attraction coast to coast, and hopes to make Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE his new home in Los Angeles.

“Oh my gosh, to be the first comedian to perform at Nokia Theatre L.A. LIVE is awesome” he said in a statement. “Now it’s the best reason to go downtown surpassing buying cheap jewelry and churros at Olvera Street.”
