Theatergoers have flocked to Mel Brooks’ Young Frankenstein this season, and despite the show’s popularity, bargain-priced tickets continue to be available.
TicketNews found new deals for tickets to the hit musical that rival those from a month ago. The top ticket price for the show is $450 for some prime seats.
A search conducted today, Jan. 16, on TicketSpot.com for tickets to a Jan. 17 performance turned up Orchestra Level seats for $58, not including shipping and convenience charges. Those same tickets carried a face value of $120 on Ticketmaster.com, again, not including shipping and convenience fees. Orchestra Level tickets for a Jan. 22 performance were nearly as inexpensive on TicketSpot.com, where similar $120 tickets were selling for $77.
Tickets in the Dress Circle and Balcony levels were available at even steeper discounts. In the Dress Circle Level, TicketSpot.com offered tickets to the Jan. 17 show for $43, which carried a face value of $120 from Ticketmaster. And, in the Balcony Level, tickets for the same performance were selling for $19, while those same seats carried face values between $50 and $75.
