The reformed funk band The Time has set up three residency sets at the Flamimgo Las Vegas from June 24-28, July 1-5 and July 29-August 2.

The group reunited for the first time in 18 years at the 50th Grammy Awards this past February, and all original members of The Time — Morris Day, Jerome Benton, Jellybean Johnson, Jimmy Jam, Terry Lewis, Monte Moir and Jesse Johnson — will perform the 15 shows at the Flamingo Showroom. Jam and Lewis went on to become a top R&B and pop songwriting/record producing team, and have worked with Janet Jackson, Michael Jackson, Boyz II Men, Usher, The Human League, Mary J. Blige and Mariah Carey.

The streetwise funk band is nothing short of legendary and will perform their hits like “Jungle Love,” “Get It Up,” “Jerk Out,” “Cool,” and “The Bird.” Tickets are priced between $65 and $150 plus taxes and fees.

“The timing needed to be perfect,” Day said in a statement. “With new artists sampling old-school music, my phone started ringing off the hook. I knew it was the right time.”
