Teen idol Teddy Geiger is hitting the road this month to headline the TG33 4U Tour, a 33-date North American tour beginning June 11 in Pomona, CA and running through July 24 in Greenville, SC. Rising young artist Hilary McRae will support on the tour.

Geiger’s tour is presented by CoverGirl and follows the launch of his new online initiative, TG33, where he is giving fans a taste of 33 newly recorded, original Teddy Geiger songs. Listeners can rate and vote on which of the new songs they would most like to appear on his forthcoming album, his first since his critically acclaimed “Underage Thinking” entered the Billboard Top 200 at #8 in March 2006. The album yielded a million-selling Hot AC Top 10 single — “For You I Will” — when Geiger was just 16.

The Ted-Heads Fan Community, launching in tandem with TG33, will offer fans the chance to purchase single tracks, select bundles or all 33 songs at a variety of price points: $0.99 a la carte songs; $9.99 for 11 tracks; $19.99 for 11 tracks + Fan Club membership/benefits; $29.99 for all 33 tracks + Fan Club membership/benefits.

Geiger has made more than 210,000 friend on his MySpace page (MySpace.com/TeddyGeiger), which has logged more than 11 million total song plays.

The singer/songwriter will make his feature film debut playing “Curtis” in “The Rocker,” the new comedy from director Peter Cattaneo (“The Full Monty”). The film also stars Rainn Wilson (“The Office”), Christina Applegate (“Samantha Who?,” “Married With Children”), Emma Stone (“Superbad”) and Josh Gadd (“Back To You”). “The Rocker” opens nationwide on August 1.
