Tickets to this fall’s UCLA college football season and tickets to see comedian Bill Engvall are on sale throughout the week ending July 5 as compiled by TicketNews.
Beginning Tuesday, tickets to UCLA’s home football season are on sale to the general public. The storied California University, who play their games in the historic Rose Bowl, has seven home games available for sale, including games against PAC-10 rivals Stanford and the University of Arizona. On Monday morning, fans of the Chicago Bears football team can buy tickets to the 2008 Bears Family Night which will be held in Soldier Field. The week’s onsales also offer a chance for soccer fans in the New York/New Jersey area to buy tickets to see their NY/NJ Red Bulls take on Spain’s F.C. Barcelona.
Wednesday offers a chance to buy tickets to see Bill Engvall, comedian and star of the TBS comedy “The Bill Engvall Show” in Verona, NY. Tuesday’s onsales has tickets to see sardonic author David Sedaris in Nashville, TN, and legendary entertainer and comedian Bob Newhart in Scottsdale, AZ.
In terms of music, Saturday morning offers a chance to get tickets to former American Idol contestant Bo Bice’s concert in South Carolina, as well as Chris Isaak’s show in Milwaukee, WI. Thursday has concerts from Idina Menzel and KC & the Sunshine Band in the onsales. Rounding out the week is a concert from The Beach Boys in Seattle, which goes on sale Tuesday morning.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
