Tickets to catch rapidly rising pop artist Duffy in concert as well as ticket pre-sale for the upcoming Metallica national tour are on sale throughout the weekend ending September 1 as compiled by TicketNews.
Today offers a chance to snag tickets to catch a myriad of artists in concert. Duffy, rising star and singer of the pop hit “Mercy,” has a concert at the Foxwoods Casino in Connecticut on sale. Multiple R&B artists have concerts in the onsales today as well. Mary J. Blige has a show in Omaha on sale, a joint concert event from Bobby Brown, Dru Hill, and Sisqo set to take place in Atlanta, and a joint show between conscious hip hop artist Common and N.E.R.D. in Milwaukee are all on sale this morning. Rounding out the onsales for today are tickets to catch Gavin DeGraw in concert in Hollywood, CA at the House of Blues.
Saturday’s onsales include several concerts and a chance to catch some wrestling. For members of Metallica’s fan club, internet presale for their entire upcoming concert tour goes on sale Saturday morning. Also on sale Saturday morning are tickets to country kings Rascal Flatts’ tour stop in Connecticut as well as tickets to an upcoming appearance of the Steve Miller Band in Columbus, OH. Finally, tickets to catch WWE’s stop in New York City’s Madison Square Garden are in the onsales for Saturday morning.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
