Tickets for the upcoming tour of rockers Weezer and tickets for an upcoming joint concert between teen sensations Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers are on sale throughout the week ending August 16 as compiled by TicketNews.
Fans of the rock band Weezer will be excited to know that tickets for the band’s upcoming national tour are on sale throughout the week. Friday morning has tickets on sale for several concerts, including a show at New York City’s Madison Square Garden. On Saturday another large block of tickets are in the onsales, including stops in San Jose, Saint Paul, and Chicago.
Also in the onsales for the week is a chance to catch Disney stars Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers in a joint concert at Universal City, CA. Tickets for the concert are on sale Saturday morning. Also on sale Saturday morning are tickets to catch Oscar winning actor and comedian Robin Williams in his first national stand-up tour in over five years. The shows on sale include stops in Milwaukee and Columbus, OH.
Friday morning’s onsales has tickets for upcoming shows by crooner Michael Buble in Baltimore and Raleigh, as well as a chance to catch country singer Martina McBride and R&B singer Mary J. Blige at separate shows in Charlotte, NC. Rounding out the onsales for Friday are two Coldplay concerts in Boston and Washington, DC. Fans of classic rock will want to snap up tickets to catch The Who and The Eagles in their upcoming concert tours, both of which have tickets on sale this week.
“Onsales” is a ticketing industry term describing when tickets initially go on sale to the general public. Each week, tickets are released by promoters, venues and others to dozens of events, but the number of tickets available can vary significantly between locations.
